Velocity Slot Technology
The patent-pending Velocity Slot Technology in the new Idea a12 OS hybrids create a game improvement club that is substantially more forgiving while producing a hotter ball flight for more distance. Compared to the Idea a12, the OS version is 14% larger and has a higher launch angle with more forgiveness attributes.
Transitional Hybrids
The Idea a12 OS set also includes redesigned Transitional Hybrids with a "Truss Back" design allowing more weight to be distributed to the perimeter of the club lowering the center of gravity making them optimally suited for bridging the gap between the hybrids and the deep undercut cavity-back irons of the set.

I have played 5 times with these irons in South Carolina and really feel comfortable with them. They have a great feel and I am hitting them longer them my previous Cleveland hibore irons.

Would rather have a sand wedge included with this set instead of gap wedge. Ordered SW separately. The senior flex was a better choice for me as back surgery has limited my flexibility and its more forgiving in my particular case. (Did I mention I'm 70?!)

LOVE the a12OS but the set makeup was misleading. All Adams ads (and other retailers) feature a 4H, 5H, 6H, 7- GW but Golf Discount sent me a 4H, 5H, 6 iron -GW. I'm not sure if this was because I ordered a 3H as a set addition and the order filler was confused or if I was penalized for getting the set at a 15% "customer loyalty" discount. Replacing the 6 iron with a 6H will cancel out my savings.

The only con a strong golfer such as yourself may find in these clubs are the longer head sizes and offset. If both of these things don't suit your eye or your game, you may be better suited with a more controllable, more player oriented set.
