It appears the increase in cost on this club is the Titanium face. What benefit is expected with Titanium and are all other things the same. Like, forgiveness, sweet spot, etc.

This fairway wood will definitely go farther. It's designed to be hit off the fairway or off the tee. A 3-hybrid is generally used to replace a 3-iron. Most golfers hit farthest, in order of distance, Driver, 3-Wood, 5-Wood, 3-Hybrid (or iron), 4-Iron (or hybrid), and so on.
