This little jewel works like a charm. Right on the mark with yardages. I attach to the golf cart steering wheel spoke and turn off the voice. Drive to the ball and ready to go.

I bought this for My Dad as a Xmas present. All other GPS's are to complicated for him. This is great because all you do is turn it on. It automatically locates the course and what hole you are on. It has the voice feature but it also has a display so you can use both. They just came out with a optional wristband you can purchase to turn it into a watch (I dont believe GolfDiscount carries it yet). It just gives you yardages to the green, no other yardages such as bunkers, water etc. It defaults to the center of the green, so if you dont do anything it always tells you to the center. Tip: You can get yardages to the Front and Back by holding down the button for 3 secs but it stays on that setting. It doesnt default back to the Center on the next hole. If you want to go back to the center yardage you have to hold the button down till it cycles back to the cneter setting. Even though it is pre-loaded with courses and you can use it out of the box, I downloaded the Golf Buddy Golf Manager software and Updated all the courses in the USA. Only took 5 minutes or so all the course are all updated and he doesn't have to fool with any software updates. You can also alter the welcome screen on the unit with the Manager software so I added his name and cell phone# in case it gets lost. Overall I think this is the best simple GPS out there and perfect for my Dad. No menu to worry about he doesnt have to hold a laser. For his game and enjoyment all he needs is yardage to the center of the green and he has the option of wearing on his hat belt or in his pocket as well as the new watch/wristband option if he wants to purchase the wristband later
