MP-59 Irons
Player's Cavity with Forgiveness.
Mizuno's Forged Ti Muscle maintains thickness behind impact, for blade like workability – combined with forgiveness normally found in a cavity design. The thickness is provided by a lightweight Titanium insert, which is forged directly inside the clubhead for a one piece feel.
With weight saved from the middle portion of the clubhead, the MP-59 takes the characteristics of a full cavity design, with stability from off center strikes. The thicker material behind impact ensures that center strikes are rewarded with a solid impact. The MP-59's center of gravity also remains close to the clubface - allowing ball strikers to produce controlled draws and fades.
The MP-59 takes the multi material concept further than its award wining predecessor (MP-58). With its Ti weight more central to the clubhead the MP-59 creates even greater stability from off center strikes. This increased stability allows for less offset to be used, improving the irons look at address.
A thinner top line and weightier sole is finished with a new sole grind developed with Mizuno’s Tour players through 2011.

This are great looking clubs that perform just as good as they look. Love the soft forged feel, especially when pitching/chipping. Very consistent and no distance loss from my previous Taylor Made CB irons. Off center hits lose a little distance, but stay on line well. Golf Discount shipped them quickly and I got them in two days way down here in New Orleans. Happy Mardi Gras!
