The CG7 Black Pearl Tour Irons
Traditional player’s shaped irons designed with a precision Laser Milled face texture to maximize surface roughness and spin. Coupled with the Zip Grooves these irons have the best and most effective spin technology ever developed by Cleveland Golf. Designed for Low-to-Mid handicappers.
Laser Milled Face
Using the precision accuracy of a laser, four perfectly calibrated texture lines are milled between each groove exactly to the conforming roughness limit. This breakthrough surface roughness application optimizes ball-to-face friction and maximizes spin under the rules of golf.
Zip Grooves
An envelope-stretching groove geometry that optimizes groove dimensions to conforming limits. The larger groove volume channels the most debris possible at impact to improve contact and maximize spin.
CG7 Tour Dynamic Microcavity Technology
Progressively sized microcavities decrease in length from the long irons to the short irons to optimize the CG location for each head. Microcavity Technology (MCT) allows movement of discretionary weight lower and deeper for increased distance, ball speed and accuracy.
CG7 Tour Heel / Toe Muscle Weighting
6% higher MOI than traditional irons for increased forgiveness on off center hits. Lower and deeper CG location for higher trajectory and more distance.
CG7 Tour 360° Gelback Technology
A one piece injection molded lightweight visco-elastic insert that covers the entire perimeter of the cavity and the base of the head. Provides vibration dampening across the entire face for superior feel, even on off center hits.
