907D1 Drivers
The Titleist 907D1 is a multi-material 460cc driver with a high moment of inertia (MOI) for increased DISTANCE WITH FORGIVENESS and outstanding playability.
MOI is the clubhead's resistance to twisting on off-center impact (i.e., heel, toe, high, or low). A higher MOI value means more resistance to twisting. The benefit of the Titleist 907D1 having a higher MOI is longer distance (better energy transfer from club to ball) on off-center impacts.

Design
The 907D1 driver has an innovative multi-material design featuring a separate face, body and hosel construction.

Construction
The 907D1 has a 6-4 titanium body, SP700 beta titanium face insert, 6061 T6 milled aluminum hosel.

Stock Shafts
The Titleist Spec Grid 67 by Aldila is a versatile high performance lightweight shaft with a slightly softer tip, medium torque and mid flex point for a medium trajectory and great feel. The Spec Grid shaft provides an excellent combination of distance, feel and control and is a good choice for players of all swing speeds possessing a medium tempo.

The YS-6+ is a lightweight shaft that offers a good balance of stability, feel and shot control, and works for a wide range of players. The YS-6+ features a mid flex point, medium tip and soft/medium butt stiffness. The YS-6+ works well for smooth tempo players who require a higher launch angle and more spin for optimum distance.


The VS Proto is a lightweight, low-torque driver shaft featuring high modulus material and a micro laminate construction for good tip stability, recovery and feel characteristics. The VS Proto 65 features a mid flex point and is designed for players seeking a penetrating trajectory, medium spin and good control characteristics in a lightweight shaft.

- Celebrating a decade of designing and producing high performance drivers for the world's most discerning golfers, Titleist introduces its most technologically advanced offerings yet with the launch of the highly-anticipated 907D1 and 907D2 models. Titleist seeks to 'reshape' golfers' games with the 460cc limit geometry, high MOI triangular design of the 907D1, and the advanced traditional geometry, enhanced MOI of the 907D2.

The 907 drivers are designed with all the core performance deliverables that have made Titleist the driver choice of Tour players, PGA club professionals, top amateurs and serious golfers at every level of competitive golf. The highest inertia Titleist driver ever, the 907D1 offers increased distance with forgiveness, producing a straighter ball flight. The 907D2 provides enhanced MOI for increased distance with workability, allowing the better player the ability to produce a draw or fade. Another primary difference is in the appearance. The 907 D1 is a market forward, limit geometry, triangle shape, while the 907D2 is a traditional round profile. The internal construction is similar and both drivers provide a large maximum ball speed area for increased ball speed across the face. Like all high performance Titleist-branded golf clubs, the new 907D1 and 907D2 drivers were thoroughly machine and player tested at Titleist's state-of-the art Oceanside Test Facility and successfully seeded and performance validated with the world's most discerning and influential golfers, those across the worldwide professional tours and with PGA Club Professionals. It is in these venues that the new driver already has begun to weave an impressive story of success and momentum, and continue Titleist's reign as the #1 460cc driver on the PGA Tour.
The new 907D2, which has been the more popular choice to date among Tour players, was played to a fast start as the driver choice of the winner of the PGA European Tour's South African Airways Open in December, the first week he put it into play. On the U.S. PGA Tour, the 907D2 was played by the runner-up at the season-opening Mercedes-Benz Championship, who also finished 7th at the Sony Open in Hawaii the following week. In addition, the 907D2 is also being played with success by Adam Scott, Ben Crane, Arron Oberholser, Brett Quigley, Ben Curtis, Jason Bohn, Brad Faxon, Eric Axley, Bill Haas, Robert Gamez, Daisuke Maruyama and rookies Andrew Buckle and Johnson Wagner among others. Dudley Hart posted a pair of Top 25 finishes at the FBR Open and Buick Invitational playing the 907D2 after finishing T8 at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic playing the 907D1. Jason Dufner started his season with a T13 at the Sony Open in Hawaii playing the triangular-shaped 907D1.
Both the Titleist 907 D1 and 907 D2 drivers incorporate a multi-material design that utilizes a cast 6-4 titanium body, a high speed beta titanium face insert, and a CNC machined hosel. The cast body utilizes thin crown walls to optimize weight distribution. In addition, the crown and hosel shapes have been designed to be more weight efficient. The face insert is tapered from top to bottom, making it stiffer down low which provides for higher launch and lower spin. The 6061 T6 hosel is mechanically fixed into the crown, saving weight internally.
