Even though I was aware that these were brand new I was still very impressed. The packaging was excellent, the heads were double wrapped and grips were still in their original plastic, not even a single sticker was missing from the shafts! It was like they were sent straight from Titleist to my front door. Thats amazing considering Titleist had to stop making these wedges by the end of 2009. I recently made the conversion from Cleveland wedges to Vokey wedges and could not be happier. I feel like the bounce on Vokey wedges is much less noticable, which for me means more confidence when hitting my Vokey off the fairway. I have noticed that the wedge does take some of the shell off of the softer practice balls at my club, but I have not noticed this same effect with my proV1x balls I use on the course. As for in the sand, forget about it, these wedges are a dream come true. Do not let anyone tell you that Vokey wedges are for better golfers, they are for golfers who want to get the best out of their clubs. Every year these clubs are Gold Medal winners on Golf Digest's Hot List and once you play one you will know why immediately.
