TaylorMade Tour Burner Driver
The Tour Burner driver head's exceptionally high MOI makes it extremely stable and forgiving on off-center hits. That benefit, combined with the advantage provided by TaylorMade's renowned Inverted Cone clubface technology, results in even higher ball speed on off-center hits.

TaylorMade’s new Tour Burner driver is engineered to help average golfers generate tour caliber launch conditions, in order to promote tour caliber distance.

Incorporating a dual crown design with a crown that is noticeably smaller than the sole, along with a weighted power base; this gives the driver a lower, deeper center of gravity, promoting high launch, low spin drives. A couple of characteristics that stand out after demoing the driver, is how lightweight it feels and how consistent a trajectory it has. I wasn’t able to measure my club head speed at the time, but it almost felt like I was swinging 5-7mph faster than usual. The shaft is a 60 gram RE-AX super fast shaft by Fujikara. I demoed a 10.5°, when I normally play a 9°, and was surprised with the consistent mid-trajectory I got. Off center shots felt pretty solid and I didn’t feel the club twisting in my hands as much. At address the club head almost looks triangular, which takes a little getting used to. But after about 20 shots it felt like I was squaring up to the ball easier. Also the sound of the driver was a little more muffled than I expected.

Overall the Tour Burner driver is a nice addition to the plethora of drivers TaylorMade has to offer.
