The Victory Red Drivers have arrived, continuing in the impressive tradition of the VR Irons and Wedges before them. Featuring Nike's new Compression Channel and Tour-Level upgrades.

Transcript:

Following in the footsteps of their popular Victory Red Irons and Wedges, Nike has just released two new Victory Red Drivers for the 2010 Season. The VR Tour and the VR Str8-Fit Tour. The VR Str8-Fit Tour has been designed for high-end performance, longer distance, and shot-shaping control. Nike’s new Compression Channel, as seen here on the sole of the club is meant to increase overall compression at impact, producing uniform ball speeds across the entire face from heel-to-toe. The VR Str8-Fit also features Nike’s signature Str8-Fit technology, allowing golfers the option to manually alter the club head into 32 different face angle options. A closed face can help golfers who at times battle a slice, while an open face setting can combat a hook. Golfers looking to refine their set-up, and generate a preferred ball flight, will also benefit from the Str8-Fit’s adjustability. This driver also features the tour-inspired Aldila Voodoo shaft, engineered with “Score” technology to ensure maximum energy transfer and consistent results with every swing. The VR Tour driver, while maintaining the same graphics and Compression Channel as the Str8-Fit, is designed for the better player who prefers a more compact head shape, and who likes to work the ball with their swing rather than alter the face angle of their club. The VR Tour comes standard with an upgraded Golf-Pride tour grip, and the tour-level Project X graphite shaft, featuring 3 unique zones from butt to tip to optimize performance. With stiff competition so far in early 2010, Nike is going to have their hands full trying to grab s share of the driver market this year. But with the Str8-Fit’s customization and the VR Tour’s upper level features, Nike’s Victory Red drivers are sure to please the spec demands of any mid to low handicapper.
