What’s in the Bag: Winner Henrik Stenson at Wyndham Championship

Not only did Henrik Stenson win the Wyndham Championship, the Swede did it without a driver in his golf bag. Stenson closed with a 64 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, to edge Ollie Schniederjans by a stroke and set a scoring record of 22 under par.

“He pushed me all the way to the end,” Stenson said about Schniederjans. “It was a tight race. Luckily, I managed to put my foot down and make a couple of birdies coming home.”

Sedgefield Country measures over 7,300 yards, neither long nor short by PGA Tour standards. Nonetheless, Stenson’s 3-wood gambit paid off. According to PGATOUR.COM, he averaged nearly 295 yards off the tee and ranked eighth for the week in driving accuracy, hitting 75 percent of the fairways.

Here’s a look at his golf equipment.
