On Thursday Tiger Woods published a brief video on Twitter that showed him hitting a short pitch shot. His form looks good and he makes clean contact in the slow-motion clip.
“Dr. gave me the OK to start pitching,” he tweeted.
Woods hasn’t competed since he withdrew from the Omega Dubai Desert Classic in February due to back issues. He later underwent his fourth back surgery.
Is this the beginning of a comeback?
Woods will serve as an assistant captain for the U.S. Presidents Cup team in September. He will turn 42 in December.
