With defending John Deere Classic champion Bryson Dechambeau withdrawing on Thursday due to a shoulder injury, it was guaranteed there would be a new champion in 2018. Enter Michael Kim.
A product of the University of California, Berkley, the South Korean born, 25-year old finished with a John Deere Classic record (-27) and crushed the field by 8 strokes en route to his first career PGA Tour championship.
The victory also secured Kim the only invitation at the John Deere Classic available to players yet to qualify for the Open Championship, as well as earning over a million dollars in prize money and a 2-year exemption on the PGA Tour.
A brand ambassador for Titleist, here are the clubs Michael Kim played on his way to a historic first victory.
