McGladrey Classic Winner Ben Crane: His Golf Clubs

0

Full Disclosure: I think Ben Crane is pretty much awesome. The reasons why are probably pretty obvious, but it’s almost impossible to not root for the guy. In case you’ve been living underneath a rock (also, don’t do that, it can’t be comfortable at all), you should be informed that Ben Crane is responsible for some legitimately hilarious internet videos. To be clear, when I say “hilarious,” you would be forgiven to assume that I’m using the word a bit carelessly, that I’m putting the humor of a PGA golfer and professional athlete on a different scale than normal comedy. This is something that happens a lot and is totally understandable, athlete-funny is usually different than normal-person-funny. However, in this case, these videos are objectively very funny, without qualification. Who knew, am I right? Ben Crane the comedian.

Anyway, the videos are hilarious. My favorite has to be On Working Out, but On Slow Play and the infamous Golf Boys (Oh oh oh) are a great use of your time as well. I’ll wait a second and let you watch one or two or all of them … they’re really funny, right? Yeah, I told you. The main chink in the Ben Crane as Awesome armor is the undeniable fact that they guy plays golf at a pretty slow place. This is not good. I normally despise such things.

That being said, when you’re able to put on funny outfits and smart around on a wildly popular internet video making fun of yourself for that very weakness, I’m liable to forgive a lot. He’s a genius, that Ben Crane. A personal relations genius.

So we’re a little late recapping Crane’s fourth PGA Tour Win. Please forgive us! These things happen. Anyway, even though you probably already know, Ben Crane won the wonderfully named McGladrey Classic, and he won it in dramatic fashion against super-duper-classy Webb Simpson. Quite soon after, his third child was born. It was a great story, and Ben Crane is a great guy, and you’re a great reader, and everything is great, and here are the clubs Crane used to get the win. They’re great.
