Big Bertha Fusion Driver

A Material Change in Forgiveness and Distance.

By combining revolutionary materials and innovative aerodynamics, the Big Bertha Fusion Driver pushes the boundaries of forgiveness like no Callaway club ever has. It all starts with Callaway’s new aerospace-grade titanium Exo Cage, which is fitted with a triaxial carbon crown and sole that is ultra-light and ultra-strong. This carbon crown is constructed by weaving strands together, rather than just layering sheets of carbon. The result is a stronger and lighter crown, which allows the weight to be moved to the perimeter and farther away from the face for more forgiveness and increased swing speed.

The Big Bertha Fusion Driver is offered in two stock shaft lengths: 44.5” and 45.5”. The shorter length is considered the “Heavy” model due to the heavier 12-gram weight located in the back of the head. The Heavy promotes more head control and a higher smash factor for golfers looking to hit straighter drives. The longer 45.5” model is the standard length of most drivers on the market and promotes faster swing speed for high ball speed and maximum distance.

Features and Benefits

  • Triaxial Carbon Exo-Cage is ultra-lightweight and strong which allows the weight to be repositioned for increased swing speed, and more accurate distance
  • Speed Step Crown reduces drag to further promote faster swing speeds for added distance
  • Acoustic engineering offers a more solid sound and feel
  • Optional Heavy model is 1” shorter than traditional drivers which promotes straighter drives

Shaft Options:

  • UST Mamiya Recoil ES 440/450 - Designed to load energy on the downswing and unload with an extraordinary combination of power and precision through impact. The 440 is slightly lighter weight and less stiff than the 450.
  • Mitsubishi Diamana Red - Designed to promote high launch, low spin and fast ball speed, making it easier to hit a distance-enhancing draw.

Big Bertha Fusion
Great Driver easy to hit and control. A must have for a high handicap golfer!
I've been searching for a forgiving driver that doesn't sacrifice distance, My God Callaway is on to something special with this Driver!! I tried it out in the normal 45.5 shaft, and although I wasn't hitting it that good, I was surprising getting awesome distance from it and then I saw it comes in a 44.5 shaft, and Boom that was it, I was hitting it so much more accurate and still getting incredible distance. I had the Titleist 916 Driver, and I averaged 225- 235 with the 916.. But with the Fusion I averaged 235 CARRY!! And got 265 put of it. That is a game changer for me! I ordered a 10.5 UST Mamiya Recoil 450 - stiff in the 44.5 inch. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Fantastic driver
I'm a senior who kept fighting a fade. I set this for draw with a 10.5 loft, and my fade is now very rare. Good solid feeling on ball contact. This driver looks great at set up. Would recommend to all type players.
