Construction
The Supersoft is a 2-piece ball that features a Polybutadiene Core, a Trionomer Blend Cover, with a HEX Aerodynamic 332 dimple pattern.
Brightness
I found the SuperSoft to be more on the dull side of Callaway’s brightness scale. It’s still a very bright white, but not as bright as the rest of the Callaway balls.
Durability
Like all the Callaway balls, this ball showed excellent durability over a short period of playing time. I typically see less durability the softer a ball feels, which makes sense, but I like what I am seeing from this ball so far.
Feel
If you prefer the softer feeling balls that are making a splash in the ball market, then the Callaway SuperSoft is right up your alley. Its 38 compression rating is one of the lowest on the market and will offer you added feel.
Who’s it for?
Being a 2-piece ball, the beginning golfer and higher handicap players will love this ball. It offers up everything that the Warbird offers up but with a much softer feel. That being said, mid-high and mid-handicappers will also love this ball as they tend to now play a ball that offers more feel than they did when they first started out. This ball will offer them the feel around the greens that they love and still offer up plenty of distance, less side spin and quick lift for shots around the greens or over trees.
