Shot Versatility
Unlock your ultimate short game creativity with the precisely fitted Vokey SM10 wedges, offering a comprehensive range of loft, grind, and bounce combinations to suit various swing types, playing styles, and course conditions. These wedges enhance turf interaction, leading to an optimal strike position (grooves 2-5), resulting in a lower, more consistent flight with increased spin.
Full Loft, Grind and Bounce Options
Vokey's tour-proven wedge grinds have each been meticulously developed through years of working with the best players in the world. The variety of Vokey grinds gives players the versatility in their bag to hit any wedge scoring shot with confidence.
The T grind, one of the most played lob wedges on the PGA TOUR, is featured as SM10’s low-bounce lob wedge option. The 54.08M has been added to the lineup for players who prefer a lower-bounce, strong-lofted sand wedge.
T Grind
Sharper Shotmaking
The narrowest sole in the SM9 lineup, the T Grind is a low bounce option with maximum toe, heel and trailing edge relief, allowing for the ultimate in greenside versatility.
Best suited for precise players looking for enhanced versatility.
F Grind
All-Purposed Grind for Full Wedge Shots
The F grind is an all-purpose grind particularly suited for full shots and shots hit with a square face. Ideal for players who prefer a traditional wedge sole. The F grind is the most played sand wedge on Tour.
Best suited for players preferring a full sole for full shots.
M Grind
Multi-Purpose Grind for Versatility
The M Grind, Vokey’s favorite, is designed for players that like to rotate the club face open and closed to manufacture shots around the green. Ideal for players with a shallower, more sweeping swing type who play shots from a variety of clubface positions.
Best suited for players who like to manufacture shots around the green.
S Grind
Narrow and Versatile
The S Grind features a full sole that has been narrowed by a trialing edge grind, giving it a faster feel through the turf. This grind is best for neutral to firm conditions and for players that like to control loft with their hands ahead or behind the ball.
Best suited for players who prefer square faced shots with a simple technique.
D Grind
The Players High Bounce Wedge
The D grind blends versatility from a heel, toe, and trailing edge grind and forgiveness with its high measured bounce. The D Grind is ideal for players with a steeper angle of attack who play shots from a variety of clubface positions.
Best suited for players with a steeper angle of attack.
K Grind
The Ultimate in Soft Conditions
The K Grind is the highest bounce wedge in the lineup and is the ultimate bunker club. A wide, full sole wedge with enhanced camber, the K Grind is forgiving from a variety of softer sand and turf conditions.
Best suited for players requiring forgiveness in a wide, full sole.
Distance and Trajectory Control
Vokey Design SM10 wedges incorporate an optimized, progressive CG for precise distance and trajectory control. The 46-52° models feature a lower CG for improved transition from the iron set, while in 54-62° lofts, the CG is moved up and forward to achieve a lower trajectory and a squarer face at impact. This loft-optimized CG ensures consistent, controlled flight, enhanced feel, and tighter dispersion throughout a player's wedge setup.
Maximum Spin
Vokey’s patented Spin Milled groove cutting process ensures higher and more consistent spin in each wedge. Featuring individually cut TX9 grooves based on loft and finish, narrower and deeper grooves in the 46-54° wedges and wider, shallower grooves in the 56-62° wedges contribute to enhanced performance. Additionally, a parallel micro-texture between grooves maximizes spin on partial shots, and a high-frequency heat treatment doubles the durability of the groove edge in the impact area compared to untreated grooves.
Progressive Shaping, Enhanced Profiles
Vokey SM10 wedges undergo a progressive shaping update, ensuring consistent profiles and instilling confidence in all players. The 46-52° lofts exhibit a smaller profile with a straighter leading edge, while the 56-62° lofts present a larger footprint and a more rounded leading edge, enhancing shot versatility.
