The Takeaway
Made from Grain Flowed Forged 1025E Pure Select Mild Carbon steel the Mizuno JPX 900 Tour irons deliver a soft, solid and consistent feel. Mizuno’s tour proven sole design incorporates rounded leading and trailing edges with their thinnest sole to date. The result is a more consistent turf interaction and maximum versatility and playability. The Power Frame pushes more mass to the corners and the reinforced top line produces a strong sound at impact.
Who's It For?
The JPX 900 Tour irons are without a doubt Players clubs. Super compact, super clean and easily worked. Plus to Single Digit handicaps.
Final Take
The JPX 900 Tour Irons come with a soft, somewhat dull finish that is simple and refined. There is very little paint fill, however they still stand out in your hand and in your bag. Simply put, this is one small, thin looking head that provides exceptional feedback and true ball flight. I did not notice a beveled leading edge on this model as I did on the other two versions. If you are a true Mizuno Players Club fan, these are a must try.
