Ping Anser Fairway Wood
Anser Fairway Wood
Higher Launch with More Forgiveness.
The Anser fairway wood allows you to adjust the loft using Trajectory Tuning™ Technology. Utilizing a PING wrench to loosen the head, you can add or subtract 1/2º of loft to the standard settings of 14.5º (3-wood), 16.5º (4-wood), and 18.5º (5-wood). Trajectory Tuning Technology helps you optimize your launch conditions to increase distance and accuracy.
With Trajectory Tuning Technology you’re able to fine-tune your launch angle and spin rate to gain yards on every drive. When adding loft, the face angle closes slightly; when subtracting, the face angle opens slightly. However, we’ve designed our Trajectory Tuning Technology to minimize face-angle effects. This approach lets you fine-tune the height of your trajectory by changing loft before a round to suit the playing conditions, the weather, or changes in your swing.
Rear sole weighting optimizes the CG to promote a slightly lower, more penetrating ball flight with low spin, which adds distance and elevates the MOI for greater accuracy. In the compact 17-4 stainless steel head, a larger hitting surface elevates MOI from heel to toe for maximizing distance and accuracy across the face.
Adjustable
With Trajectory Tuning™ Technology you can add or subtract 1/2° of loft beyond the standard setting. The sleek, lightweight hosel sleeve provides the benefits of adjustability (±1/2°) without sacrificing performance.
Forgiving
The compact 17-4 stainless steel head features a larger hitting surface to elevate MOI from heel to toe for maximizing distance and accuracy, even on mis-hits.
Lightweight Hosel
The hosel design is optimized by using a lightweight titanium screw and aluminum hosel sleeve. The design maintains the same outer diameter and mass as PING’s traditional fixed hosels.Standard Shaft: Ping TFC 800F
