Since the G25’s release in late 2012, PING engineers have been coordinating with developers, compiling substantial data from PING consumer input and testing, testing, testing via PING Man, PING Golf’s mechanical swing robot first developed in 1976 and adeptly perfect at emulating normal human swing conditions along with crazy 150+ mph swing swing speeds --- to arrive at the next generation G-series 30.

With the huge success of the the G25, the new G30 makes “great” even better with new crown turbulator aerodynamics for measurable improvements that have reduced even further the driver’s drag forces, which helps to increase your clubhead speed for even more distance. Also, PING updated the G30 with a new higher strength, lighter T9S titanium face that has saved four grams from the face area to help better position the G30’s CG lower and farther back than the G25 for increased MOI and more club forgiveness. CG position optimization and increased perimeter weighting is enhanced even more with the G30’s sole louvered thin walls that stabilize sound and have saved weight.

Standardly equipped with PING’s TFC 419D shaft that features a high balance point allowing for the G30’s heavier head, the shaft increases MOI for more distance and will have you swinging stronger and straighter than ever. Other Tour shaft options offer lower trajectory with added control. The new G30 is also available in a 10° or 12°SF (Straight Flight) TEC model that features heel weighting with a lighter swing weight to promote straighter ball flights.
