Description

Women's G30 Fairway Wood

The Best. Made even Better.

Right on the edge of their several year release schedule, PING is building upon their exceptional G25 Fairway with their new, sheer performance powerhouse women's G30 Fairway Wood that further showcases PING’s commitment to quality and optimal design. Since the G25’s release in late 2012, PING engineers have been coordinating with developers, compiling substantial data from PING consumer input and testing, testing, testing via PING Man, PING Golf’s mechanical swing robot first developed in 1976 and adeptly perfect at emulating normal human swing conditions along with crazy 150+ mph swing swing speeds --- to arrive at the next generation G-series 30.

With the huge success of the the women's G25 Fairway, the new women's G30 makes “great” even better with a larger, taller face and flattened crown that yields a more forgiving face along with a flatter visual appearance that instills confidence at address. The women's G30 Fairway Wood also features a uniform and thinner Carpenter 475 steel face that increases ball speed and maximizes face deflection. Progressive CG positioning, more forward in higher lofts and farther back in lower lofts, optimizes trajectories across all the G30 Fairway Woods and the ability to add/reduce up to 1° of loft gives you even more control to fine-tune trajectories.

Standardly equipped with PING’s TFC 419F ladies flex shaft that features a high balance point allowing for the G30’s heavier head, the shaft increases MOI for more distance and will have you swinging stronger and straighter than ever. Other Tour shaft options offer lower trajectory with added control.

Based on the best of the best PING has to offer. Built on the best of the best PING has developed through the years. And engineered with every aspect of aerodynamics, center of gravity, inertia, and weight positioning optimally designed to improve your game --- the new PING women's G30 Fairway Wood is yet another magnificent milestone in Mr. Solheim and company’s precise and exacting manufacturing history of making the best equipment that can be made for people to play, the very best they can, the hardest game in the world.

Reviews

SENIOR/SOFT shaft (as per Ping specs comparisons) not WOMAN'S G30 5-wood
This is NOT "WOMANS/LADIES" and this supplier has been admonished for this, even though some Ladies DO employ Ping Senior/Soft shafts AS THIS ONE IS. Simply compare the shaft's specifications with other Ping Senior/Soft ones to find it's settling nicely in the midst of these. As such, my experiences on the driving range is that this shaft marries well to other Ping Senior/Soft/similar specs shafts on my other woods! Now to report on the G30 head as more forgiving than it s older brother G25 ... well, if you are happy with your G25 & shafts, then no reason to quit it. If there's more forgiveness (ala the MOST forgiving G30 driver vs G25 heads) then I either imagine it or it's so slight I can't bank on it ... besides this would also be comparing this Sr/Soft shaft to the G25 5W's Regular flex shaft. Now for more on Golf Discount. No response to my picking at "Ladies" vs Sr/Soft shaft, just this request to post a review. Well, sports fan DON'T DO IT from JUNO nor any older web browser but the latest/greatest. 1) when I tried to fill out the review on the email screen, the type was so tiny the letters looked smaller than periods! So the other option offered was to click & review on your web browser. It froze, then crashed Juno. I am very glad I was able to get this club at a less than $10 discount but then I waited in Texas for a loooooong time more than a local Mom/Pop Ping store would take. Then the Ladies issue, now web crashing. mmmmmmmmm https://landing-pages.yotpo.com/#/review reports now: OOPS! SOMETHING WENT WRONG, AND YOUR REVIEW HAS NOT BEEN POSTED YET. We would really love to hear from you -- please try posting again in 10 minutes. REALLY?!?!?!?
