Titleist 2019 Scotty Cameron Phantom X 8.5 Putter
Scotty Cameron Phantom X 8.5 Putter
The Next Level in Putting
As the most technical putter line Scotty Cameron has offered to date, the 2019 Phantom X family presents mallet players with a variety of new setups in a cohesive mix of five new head styles, shaft bends and alignment options with new, multi-material construction including solid aluminum faces anodized black, bold accent colors and 303 stainless steel.
Differing from the Phantom X 8 only in shaft bend length and toe hang, the Phantom X 8.5 offers players an unbroken, sculpted flange from the putter’s leading edge through the back flange with a short single bend shaft to promote a slightly arced putting stroke. Alignment is easy with bright visual cues.
Next Level Design
Scotty Cameron has created his most technically advanced putter line to date with Phantom X—a collection of nine new modern mallets based upon five different head shapes engineered to take putting performance to the next level. Each compact, high-tech model masterfully blends sharp, alignment-promoting angles with soft, sculpted contours exemplifying Scotty’s flowing, melt-into-the-ground design philosophy.
Next Level Alignment
Aesthetically stunning with precise visual guides built into every model, Phantom X mallets provide players with new flange setups, wider toplines and four different Tour validated alignment options ranging from triple milled sight dots to continuous, brightly colored lines milled from the leading edge to the back of the putter head.
Next Level Performance
Made to inspire confidence and promote performance, Phantom X putters are precision milled, multi-component mallets crafted with sleek, ground-hugging contours shaped to offer optimal weight distribution, forgiveness and feel. With solid aircraft aluminum milled faces, a new Pistolero Plus grip and three shaft bend options, the performance of the Phantom X line has been taken to the next level.
Free from visual distractions or a true topline at address, the entire surface is used for continuous alignment incorporating milled sight lines from the leading edge through the back flange including milled sight dots to frame the golf ball and define the sweet spot.
Low-Bend Shaft Technology
The stepless steel shaft has been designed with a single "low" bend aimed directly down the target line to slightly enhance toe flow—or arc—in the putting stroke.
