Description

Tight Lies 2 Titanium Fairway Wood

Out of Sight Performance.

The new Tight Lies is a fairway wood that's really easy to use and gets your ball out of all types of situations. You'll notice it's not flat or curved on the bottom, it actually has a tri-level sole which works better than traditional fairway woods on a tight lie, a thick grassy lie, out of the sand, or even from a divot. You'll hit it high without even trying. That's because it's not as tall as other fairway woods, so it's easier to launch higher. The ball jumps off the club because of the two slots on top and bottom - the new crow slot features Ghost Slot Technology, because you can't really see the slot acting as a spring-loaded cannon. It's what we like to refer to as "out of sight technology for out of sight performance."

Technology

Ghost Slot Technology
This new technology delivers out of sight performance by hiding the crown slot, but keeping the benefits of higher ball speeds and increased forgiveness.
Low Center of Gravity
Titanium clubhead with a 75-gram steel plate allows for the lowest center of gravity ever is an Adams fairway wood.
Increased Consistency
The low-profile, upside down design creates a large impact area low in the face for more consistent contact, and higher launch.

Reviews

Tight Lies is just for tight lies!
Adams always has been known as a hybrids company, they really should expand that to fairway woods as well! Getting the Adams Tight lies out on the course, I was really excited. First off, Adams has fixed the slot on the head of club by masking it with a similar color to the crown. That is not where this club stands out though, this is a beast out of any lie. I had a few par 5 shots that I hit much farther than I expected to. I also tossed a few balls into the rough to try out the playability out of all lies and it came out strong, like the rough wasn’t even there! The only problem I personally have with the club is the feel it almost feels like a wooden bat, but that is me. The price isn’t that bad for fairways these days ether. I like how Adams is sticking to their ideas and just improving on them, it shows they are listening to player in order to improve!
