Michael Brennan Continues Rise With Baycurrent Classic Triumph

Michael Brennan continued his impressive rise on the PGA Tour on Sunday, capturing the Baycurrent Classic in Japan with a final-round 3-under 68 at Yokohama Country Club. Brennan finished at 16-under 268, edging Jacob Bridgeman and Keith Mitchell by one stroke for his third career PGA Tour victory.

Brennan entered the final round tied for the lead before a clutch stretch on the back nine helped secure the win. After dropping a shot on the 10th, he responded with consecutive birdies on holes 11 and 12 before playing his final six holes at even par to close out the tournament.

The 24-year-old has quickly established himself as one of the PGA Tour’s rising stars. A former Wake Forest standout, Brennan won the Bank of Utah Championship in 2025 before claiming the Wyndham Championship in August of this year. His victory in Japan marks his second win of the 2026 season and his third in just 33 career PGA Tour starts.

With another trophy added to his growing résumé, Brennan is continuing to build momentum and establish himself as a player to watch heading into the next chapter of his career.
