2026 BMW Championship - Wyndham Clark

Wyndham Clark Holds Off Rory McIlroy to Win BMW Championship
Wyndham Clark overcame a dramatic final round at Bellerive Country Club on Sunday, blowing a five-shot lead before closing with three consecutive birdies to win the BMW Championship by three shots. He finished at 17-under after an even-par 70 final round.
The final round appeared to be slipping away from Clark early. McIlroy steadily erased the deficit, eventually pulling even with Clark on the back nine. After failing to make a birdie through his first 15 holes, Clark rolled in a birdie putt from just over 15 feet on the par-3 16th. He followed it with another birdie on No. 17 and capped the victory with a third straight birdie on the 18th.
The victory gives Clark his third PGA Tour win of 2026, adding the BMW Championship to his CJ Cup Byron Nelson victory and his second U.S. Open championship. It also marks his first FedExCup Playoffs title and puts him firmly in the conversation for PGA Tour Player of the Year.
With the BMW Championship in hand, Clark now heads to East Lake for the Tour Championship with plenty of momentum, and a legitimate case as one of the hottest players in the game.
