2026 ST. JUDE CHAMPIONSHIP -SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER

Scottie Scheffler Dominates St. Jude Championship to Open FedExCup Playoffs
Scottie Scheffler reminded the golf world why he's the No. 1 player in the world Sunday, turning in a dominant performance to win the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind in Memphis.
Scheffler closed with a 4-under 66 to finish at 17 under par, winning by a staggering eight strokes. The victory marked his second PGA Tour win of the season and the 21st of his career. The win was even more impressive considering Scheffler had to overcome an early scare. A bunker shot on the third hole took an unfortunate bounce off a sprinkler, sending his ball into the water and briefly cutting his lead to one stroke. Instead of letting the setback derail him, Scheffler responded with the type of steady golf that has defined his career. He pulled away from the field on the back nine and never gave his challengers a realistic chance. His eight-shot margin was the largest in the history of TPC Southwind.
Scheffler entered the week having not won since January’s American Express, despite putting together another remarkably consistent season. He had several close calls, including multiple runner-up finishes, but had been unable to add another trophy until this week.
Now, Scheffler heads into the rest of the FedExCup Playoffs with plenty of momentum. For everyone else chasing the FedExCup, the message was clear in Memphis: Scottie Scheffler is back in dominant form at exactly the right time.
