Tom Kim Returns to the Winner’s Circle with Victory at the Genesis Scottish Open

Tom Kim captured the 2026 Genesis Scottish Open on Sunday with a brilliant bogey-free final round of 64, finishing at 17-under-par to claim a two-shot victory over Min Woo Lee at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland. The win marked Kim’s fourth PGA Tour title and his first since 2023, ending a winless stretch of more than 1,000 days.

Kim entered the final round tied for the lead but quickly separated himself with precise iron play and clutch putting. A spectacular approach to within five feet on the 16th hole set up a crucial birdie, helping him pull away from a talented field that included Rory McIlroy, Matt Fitzpatrick, and defending champion Chris Gotterup.

Despite being just 24 years old, Kim has already built an impressive résumé. After bursting onto the PGA Tour in 2022 with victories at the Wyndham Championship and Shriners Children’s Open, he quickly established himself as one of the game’s rising stars. He added another Shriners title in 2023 and has represented the International Team in multiple Presidents Cups.

With his confidence restored and another trophy in hand, Tom Kim has reminded the golf world exactly why he was considered one of the sport’s brightest young talents. If this week’s performance is any indication, he could once again become a regular contender on golf’s biggest stages.
