Michael Thorbjornsen Breaks Through with First PGA Tour Victory at the Rocket Classic

Michael Thorbjornsen captured the biggest win of his young career on Sunday, firing a flawless 7-under 63 in the final round to claim the 2026 Rocket Classic at Detroit Golf Club. Starting the day four shots off the lead, the 24-year-old surged with a brilliant back-nine charge, finishing at 18-under par to secure his first PGA Tour title by two strokes.
