Scottie Scheffler Wins Tour Championship, Claims Second FedEx Cup

The world No. 1 rallied from a three-shot deficit Sunday at East Lake Golf Club, firing a final-round 4-under 66 to win the Tour Championship by three strokes over Viktor Hovland and capture his second FedEx Cup title. Scheffler finished the week at 16-under par.

Scheffler made his move early, nearly holing his approach on the par-3 second before making a birdie at the fourth. He continued to apply pressure throughout the back nine, taking the lead for good on the 13th hole and pulling away down the stretch.

The victory gives Scheffler his third PGA Tour title of the 2026 season, adding to wins at the American Express and FedEx St. Jude Championship. It also puts him alongside Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy as the only players to win the FedEx Cup multiple times. The 30-year-old now has 22 PGA Tour victories and continues to prove himself as the world #1.

Scheffler also passed Woods for the top spot on the PGA Tour’s all-time official career earnings list, with his $10 million FedEx Cup prize pushing his career earnings beyond $130 million. While Scheffler did not add a major championship to his resume in 2026, his three victories, remarkable consistency and another FedEx Cup title provide a fitting ending to another dominant season.
