Optimized Launch And Precision Performance
The PING G440 Hybrid is designed to suit a variety of skill levels, offering versatile ball-flight characteristics to optimize gapping and performance. From the fade-biased 2 hybrid for off-the-tee precision to the draw-inducing 5, 6, and 7 hybrids, these clubs deliver faster ball speeds, higher launch, and consistent stopping power. A new, shallower and thinner face, combined with a lower CG, ensures distance and forgiveness while maintaining a sleek profile.
The HL, or High-Launch model, features the same loft options as the G440 family but is paired with lighter-weight shafts designed to benefit golfers with slower swing speeds. This configuration promotes higher ball flights, increased distance, and improved consistency for players seeking enhanced performance.
Re-Designed Face Structure
The G440 hybrids feature a shallower face (8%) for higher launch and improved contact. A thinner face (6%) increases ball speed on-center and provides consistent performance on off-center strikes.
Free-Hosel Technology
By removing 4g from the hosel, screw, and heel, the CG is lowered by 12%, combining with the reduced face height to enhance launch and stopping power without sacrificing ball speed.
Contoured Sole Design
The slimmer back-weight profile ensures the club sits flush to the ground, maintaining a consistent face angle regardless of loft or lie settings, and works seamlessly with the adjustable hosel.
Extensive Loft Offerings
Each hybrid offers tailored performance: the 2 hybrid (17°) delivers a fade bias for off-the-tee shots, while the 3 (20°) and 4 (23°) hybrids provide neutral flight and higher launch. The 5 (26°), 6 (30°), and 7 (34°) hybrids feature draw bias for straighter flight and improved gapping into an iron set.
CarbonFly Wrap Crown
The CarbonFly Wrap crown reduces weight, reallocating it to lower the CG, enhance forgiveness, and create a muted, pleasing sound at impact.
